KICKSBYSAMMY x CBRE

1656 Lenox Ave, Miami Retail Space Signage

PROJECT

CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, wanted to say goodbye to their run-of-the-mill “for lease” signs. CBRE deemed it was time to put a new spin on the term “street art.” With success from the Chicago and Miami collaboration, the company turned to KicksBySammy once again to create a custom design piece for their 1656 Lenox Ave, Miami retail space. With the caliber of luxury retailers on Lenox Ave, what better way to capture people’s attention than by one of a kind artwork representative of the businesses and shoppers who frequent the location. Every space CBRE leases is unique and Samantha’s custom, hand-drawn art couldn’t be more on trend for this type of location.

CHALLENGE

KicksBySammy was challenged to create another “for lease” sign for 1656 Lenox Ave, Miami that represented luxury and flagship real estate. The goal of the artwork was to target the high end market and create an eye catching design that represented the Miami culture. Exploring different canvases to work and print on pushes our creative boundaries! The Lenox Ave windows would be another creative “canvas” where KicksBySammy could show off creativity and attract people's attention.

RESULT

The Lenox Ave windows are yet another creative “canvas” that visually communicates what the building represents through our– and hopefully the prospective leasee’s - eyes. People began to stop on Lenox Ave to take pictures and post the "for lease" sign artwork. It definitely generated the building's publicity and added more art to the Miami scene.
